In the production process of polypropylene BCF yarn, the filaments in the tow are broken and the filaments are formed due to uneven tensile properties of the tow, bubbles in the monofilament, excessive stretching ratio or insufficient oiling. Wool is one of the factors affecting the quality of polypropylene BCF yarn. It not only affects the appearance quality of the fiber, but also affects the physical and mechanical properties of the fiber. If there are too many filaments, the skein will appear during the processing of the carpet, and the tow will not break through the pinhole.

1) Selecting polypropylene chips with high isotacticity and low moisture and ash content is beneficial to reduce polypropylene BCF yarn. 2) Keep the melt rheology of the spinning box consistent, select the lower spinning temperature, and choose the appropriate side blowing air temperature, wind speed and suitable stretching process to reduce the filament. 3) Keep the equipment clean and in good condition to have a positive effect on reducing the hair.
