The carpet adhesive is made of butadiene and styrene as the main monomer, and the unsaturated carboxylic acid is the third monomer. The carboxylated styrene-butadiene latex obtained by DCS automatic control and high-temperature emulsion polymerization is produced. The latex is suitable for textile, non-woven treatment and carpet backing.

The carpet adhesive is a milky white or slightly bluish viscous emulsion. It is characterized by high total solid content, moderate viscosity and good water resistance; high adhesion and film tensile strength; good fluidity, good storage, large filling capacity and good mechanical and chemical stability.

The performance of carpet adhesive is close to that of natural latex. It can be directly added with a large amount of solid filler, has good compatibility with calcium carbonate filler and has good compatibility with hard rubber blending. The bonding strength between fibers is high, its tensile strength is excellent, and it is resistant to aging. It can self-crosslink itself, and it does not need to use sulfur and accelerator to form a vulcanization system.
